Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Malisasa handles information when you use the browser extension, public website, and hosted analysis services.

1. Information We Process

• Your Google account email address and Google account identifier.
• Basic profile information returned by Google sign-in, such as display name and profile image, if available.
• Chart screenshots that you choose to analyze.
• Request metadata such as selected analysis mode, timestamps, page title, page URL, browser family, and usage telemetry.
• Public website telemetry such as page path, page title, referrer host, browser language, timezone, screen size, viewport size, and event timestamps.
• For Ticker Research Card requests: the signed-in account identifier and email, requested ticker, request timestamp, quota usage, response status, latency, and a limited error category. The full generated research report is not retained in the telemetry table.
• Derived technical-analysis features such as detected symbol, detected timeframe, candle counts, extraction quality, fallback usage, latency, token usage, estimated request cost, daily quota usage, and recent request summaries.

2. How We Use Information

Information is used to authenticate users, process chart-analysis and educational research-card requests, enforce quotas and capacity controls, troubleshoot problems, monitor abuse, and improve product reliability.

3. Screenshots and Analysis Requests

When you click Analyze Current Chart, the extension captures the visible chart area from the active tab and sends that screenshot, together with related request metadata, to the hosted backend for analysis.

4. Third-Party Services

The service relies on Google for sign-in and Microsoft Azure-hosted infrastructure for backend operations. Analysis requests may be processed using Azure OpenAI or other Azure AI services, or another configured model provider where applicable to operate the product. When enabled for reliability, the backend may also request structured market candles, quote data, or company research data from external market-data services.

5. Retention

Operational telemetry, website pageview records, and quota records may be retained for service administration, cost control, abuse prevention, debugging, fallback tuning, and product improvement. These retained records are intended to be derived operational fields rather than raw screenshots or full page text. Local saved analyses remain in the user's browser unless deleted by the user or changed by a future product update.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers operating the product infrastructure, when required by law, or when needed to protect the service from abuse or security threats.

7. Your Choices

You can stop using the extension at any time, remove locally stored extension data from your browser, and choose not to submit future screenshots or analysis requests.
